National Healthcare Week is the Nation's largest healthcare event, and the theme for 2012 is "Making Miracles Happen."  It celebrates the history, technology, and dedicated professionals that work in healthcare.  Please join Morrison Community Hospital in celebrating National Healthcare Week, Sunday, May 6, through Saturday, May 12.

MCH has designated Tuesday, May 8, as a Community and Charity Day.  Please stop by and help us support the Morrison Friends Food Pantry and Happy Tails Animal Shelter.  Donations will be collected for both organizations from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the MCH front lobby.  A couple of furry friends from Happy Tails will be present during the day to visit! 

Non-perishable items may be dropped off in the Morrison Community Hospital front lobby.  Suggested items for donation to the Morrison Friends Food Pantry include canned fruit and vegetables, cereals, boxed and canned foods, and bottled juices.  Some toiletry items such as bars of soap, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry detergents, and dish soaps would also be beneficial.

Suggested items for donation to support Happy Tails include paper towels, garbage bags, sponges, bleach, grooming supplies (brushes for cats and dogs), canned cat food and treats, laundry soap and dryer sheets, canned dog food, dry dog food and dog treats, leashes, collars, harnesses, dishwashing liquid, postage stamps, bedding for dogs and cats, 8 x 11 printer paper, scoopable (clumping) cat litter, and any cleaning supply such as a broom or mop.
