Continually changing into 2006

Ready or not here we are in the new year 2006. We are starting with several changes in our online magazine.

We are bringing back the "Lets Talk Community Forum" and it goes live on January 5, 2006. This after much hand wringing and discussions about how to manage a forum in which the verbal comments come like lightning and sometimes strike with the same effect. We have received many supportive comments from our viewers instructing us to "take your time" before bringing it back and we have been methodical in our decision making. The Forum we believe is an important communication tool for the community and with good Moderators it will remain so.

We are going to bring out a new Third Page named "A Better Well Being", a health oriented area we are confident will be popular with many of our viewers. We are particularly excited to have Martina Maxfield as a columnist on this page giving bi-weekly comments on yoga as a fast growing health benefit to both the young and old. Watch for this page to go up by mid January.

We will continue to react quickly to features and events of interest to Morrison viewers such as the Katrina Huricane disaster and our daily log of emails from Jean Zinnen with the Red Cross in Louisiana. We are now located on Main Street and it is easy access to our downtown office. Our viewers understand we are accessible and always interested in new features, pictures and stories and they visit frequently. We continue to publish feature stories and Morrison news and sports in a timely, accurate and hopefully sometime entertaining way thus keeping you informed about your community. We wish you all a prosperous and safe 2006.
