Legacy, a Christian rock and worship band based out of Fulton, Illinois will be in concert at Morrison High School Auditorium, 643 Genesee Ave., Morrison, IL on Saturday May 17. The concert will start at 7:00 doors open at 6:30 with a new Christian band opening called The Burning.

Legacy is a Christian rock and worship band excited to answer God’s call to minister to His church and those seeking something to believe in. Legacy’s high energy concerts have something for everyone. Legacy’s purpose is to be God’s hands and feet, doing His work, and letting His love shine, while using their music to worship and glorify Him. Legacy’s goal: to take God’s love and His Word to the ends of the earth.

The ministry started in 2005 at Spring Valley Reformed Church in Fulton, Illinois. Members of the group include Heidi and Gary Fehlhafer from Mt. Carroll, IL. Heidi performs lead vocals/keyboards/songwriter, Gary plays bass guitar. Shawn Anton, Fulton, IL performs vocals/guitar/songwriter. Members from Morrison, IL include Mark Kooi, guitar and Luke Akker, drums. Legacy is available to provide indoor or outdoor concerts for churches, community celebrations, and special concert events. The Burning is a Christian hard rock worship band with a heart for music and ministry. They began playing together in 2007 as a college youth band. Matt Henthorn who leads the college ministry group at Open Bible Fellowship has always mixed music with his ministry. Thus the four of them started jamming together for the college group and now they have expanded their ministry out to other churches and events.
