The out-and-back course is flat and fast, taking runners from Clinton Community College through Clinton's historic neighborhoods. Registration is open through 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning. Friday Lunches are becoming a popular get together here at the River Bend Senior Center! Elsie has a following with her great home cooked meals, we might have to start a Facebook page just for her! Our Lunch time will be moving to 11:30 a.m. beginning in February.

The American public remembered members of the U. S. military, their families, and veterans by sending in more than 1.2 million cards during the sixth annual Holiday Mail for Heroes program, a joint initiative of the American Red Cross and Pitney Bowes.
Ashford Students Assist Endangered Turtle Project

Two biology students from Ashford University recently helped the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) and the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) with a project studying endangered box turtles.

The Clinton Community College B-rrry Scurry 4-Mile Run is just a week away. On Saturday, February 2, 2013, at noon, runners and walkers will fill the streets of Clinton, IA, for the 32nd annual event which benefits the CCC scholarship program.
Registration is open through 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning, February 2.
