Kids for Christ Singing Mission

Kids for Christ is a combined Sunday School of First Presbyterian Church of Morrison and Morrison United Methodist Church.  Kids for Christ Sunday School has a yearly mission of singing at Resthave Retirement & Nursing Home; Four Seasons Nursing Home; Pleasant View Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

They sing three songs and always have a special homemade gift or flowers for the residents of the nursing homes.  The children also sing at least twice a year at each church.

On Sunday, February 24, 2013, Kids for Christ sang "Rise and Shine," "Magic Penny," and "Jesus Loves Me" with sign language at Four Seasons.  The children had made a heart with the lyrics from Magic Penny and attached a penny to it.  This was handed out to all the residents and some lucky nurses, also.

After their visit to Four Seasons, they sang at the 10:15 service of First Presbyterian Church, as shown in the photograph.  In the front row left-to-right are Peyton Lowery, Jovie Patton, and Hailey Zigler.  In back left-to-right are Riley Pohren, Macy Williamson, Thomas Schlafer, Destini Waters, Jayden Kershaw, Madisyn Smith, and Max Klimson.
