B.E.S.T. Has New Officers

The B.E.S.T. organization (Better Enrichment for Students and Teachers) has appointed new officers for the next two years. B.E.S.T. is an organization that was created to support the staff and students at Morrison Jr. High. B.E.S.T. has purchased P.E. equipment, provided the resources for special assemblies and guest speakers during Red Ribbon Week, along with many other activities and enrichment opportunities throughout the year.

Kelly Vegter and Julie Mickley have done an outstanding job keeping this organization going. The new officers will stay in contact with Kelly and Julie for support and advice as they move forward and continue to provide enrichment activities and supplies for the students and teachers at Morrison Jr. High School.

The following people have been appointed as the new officers: Brenda Smith-President, Lisa Ferry-Vice President, Spring Klima-Treasurer, and Tonia Ernst-Secretary. Other members include Jeannie Kull, Mr. Hogue, and three teachers: Sara Tenboer, Chris Tichler, and Sue Ligons.

The members of B.E.S.T would like to invite any parent or grandparent to volunteer their time and talents. If you would like more information, please call the Morrison Jr. High School at 815-772-7264.
