In 2024 local Amish school children benefited from a new school building, in the Spring Valley, IL, area. To raise funds for supplies, the public is invited to a community-wide “Good Home Cooked Dinner and Bake Sale.” The Donations Only event will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. Carry-out food is available.
The location is the Yoder Residence, 9108 W. Lincoln Road (IL Route 30), rural Fulton, IL.
• Build your personalized, layered Haystack Dinner, choosing crumbled Ritz crackers; shredded lettuce; finely cooked potatoes; chopped tomatoes; fried hamburger; chopped onion.
• Top your haystack with creamy, warm, cheddar cheese sauce; crushed Doritos; grilled chicken.
The 7:00 auction includes an elevated Hunting Blind; power tools; baked goods; assorted items.
