Morrison Sophomore Fillies defeat Prince of Peace

Friday night, December 12, the Sophomore Fillies defeated Prince of Peace with three girls in double figures.

In the first quarter the Fillies shot thirty-eight percent from the field and made four out of five from the line to take an eight point lead.

The second they improved to fifty-five percent from the field and finished the first half by shooting sixty-six percent from the line.

The third quarter Morrison continued shooting well and the defense held them to three. In the fourth Prince of Peace improved their shooting but Morrison still controlled the tempo and went on to a twenty-five point win.

Katie Tenboer had the high score of fourteen with five rebounds, two assists, one steel and a perfect four of four. Jodi Medendorp had thirteen, six rebounds, one steal, four assists, and went five for eight from the line. Kelly Tenboer finished with twelve, eight rebounds, one assist and two for two from the line. Aimee Kyarsgaard had six when she shot three for three from the field and a steal and one rebound. Heather Andersen had five, three rebounds and three of nine from the line. Lindsey Smith put in two and came up with two steals. Brandy Stuart had one of two from the line and two rebounds. Emily Brinks also had one of two from the line and three rebounds. Laura Stralow came up with one steal and two rebounds.
