Jimmi J. Ferry, 64, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, September 17, 2026, at his home.
Jim was born February 2, 1962, in Dallas, TX, to Richard E. and Dona (Perry) Ferry. He attended Morrison grade schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School. He later graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL, in 1982. Jim was first married to Lisa Becker. On August 8, 2015, he married Yoli Archila in Morrison. He was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center in Sterling, IL, for more than 20 years. Jim was a member of Kingdom Life Community Church.
Survivors include his wife, Yoli; children, Scott (Jaclynn) Ferry of Princeton, IL, Carissa (Jarrett) Ruchotzke, and Gema Ferry both of Morrison; granddaughter, Rowan Elise Ruchotzke; sister, Elizabeth (Jason) Burge of Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one step-sister, Cherry L. Sweeney.
A Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Kingdom Life Community Church in Morrison, IL.
His Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Steve Harmon officiating.
The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
A memorial has been established by the family.
